I have owned property in Buena Vista 1 by the lake, and BV V LOT 9 by the river, close to four years. I fell in love with the style and quality of the homes. The turn key set up made it easy for me to purchase my vacation house. Views from my porch are like heaven on earth. Worldly cares do not exist there. The people on staff in my development are friendly and helpful. They take care of our every need. I plan to spend my retirement in Costa Rica. Some of my friends want to buy also, the prices are better now than a few years ago. I cant picture myself living anywhere else.. They have local Festivals and I try to catch a few. The last one was a long distance horse race around Lake Arenal. For now I will have to settle for dreaming of my next visit.

It is hard to explain how so many people miss the natural and unspoiled beauty of the west side of Lake Arenal. How can you not have a sense of being totally in touch with nature when you are surrounded by lush natural landscapes, overlooking majestic Lake Arenal and, on most days, have a clear view of two or three imposing volcanoes?
